WILL THIS THING MAKE MY BEER WARM?
NO, it doesn't make your beer warm; no one would want that! When you start with a cold beer and red-hot caramelizer tip [as the directions indicate], the flash heat reacts with sugars within a few seconds (3- 5 second). Yes, it does change the flavor. It creates a smoother flavor that our customers and focus group participants preferred 9 out of 10 times over the non caramelized version. Think of marshmallows. They taste one way when fresh from the bag and completely different once roasted over the fire. Both yummy but different. The same is true with caramelizing beer - both tasty but different.
HOW LONG DO I HEAT THE CARAMELIZER IN THE FIRE?
To achieve a great temperature for the Caramelizer, we recommend nestling the tip in the fire for about 10-15 minutes. This will bring the Caramelizer to a temperature of about 1571° F.

ARE THERE OTHER WAYS TO HEAT UP THE CARAMELIZER?
We recommend a wood fire however if you do not have a wood fire there are other ways to heat up the Caramelizer. Please keep in mind that heating up the Caramelizer may take longer if the fire just started compared if it has been going for awhile.
WOOD FIRES - [10-15 minutes]
A great indicator that the Caramelizer is hot enough is when the tip is glowing red.
Charcoal Fires - [15-18 Minutes]
Burning lump coal will create a hotter and cleaner than briquettes.
Wood Burning Fireplaces - [12- 18 Minutes]
Increasing the amount of air to the fire will improve combustion and increase the amount of heat the fire.
LPG Fires - [15-20 minutes]
WHAT DRINKS DO YOU RECOMMEND I CARAMELIZE?
The Caramelizer works best with dark beers, ales, and ciders are also fun to experiment with! Non-alcoholic drinks such as hot chocolate and apple cider are great to caramelize too, you can keep the tip in for 5-10 seconds to warm your drink up to taste. Craft Cocktail recipes for the Caramelizer

HOW DO I CLEAN MY CARAMELIZER?
Be sure to un-screw each component to wash individually with warm water and soap. The high quality stainless steel is also dishwasher safe, but do not put the wooden handle in the dishwasher.
*You may notice over time that the tip of your Caramelizer will get darker in color, a trick to get it back to its shiny look is using a Mr. Clean-Magic Eraser!
WHAT KIND OF CUP SHOULD I USE?
Glass, metal, and ceramic cups are the best option when using the Caramelizer. Plastic or Styrofoam cups can also be used with some caution.
HOW DO I USE THE CARAMELIZER WHEN IT'S HOT?
The Caramelizer will get very hot. Treat it with extreme care, just like you would with any other item you use in the campfire. Do not touch the stainless steel, only use the wooden handle to remove it from the fire and to dip in your drink.

WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING POLICY?
Here at Casual Panache, Inc. it is our goal to process and ship orders within 48 hours of receiving them (Monday – Friday). We currently utilize USPS to deliver our packages. Items may be shipped via first class, priority mail, or parcel post.
The rate charged for the shipping of an order is based on the weight of your product purchase and your location. You will be provided with the shipping rate for your order before the final checkout.
We provide you with a tracking number – just make sure that your email address is correct when placing your order or creating your account. Please note that if the item is shipped 1st Class USPS mail, tracking numbers are not available.
CAN I RETURN MY ORDER?
Yes! We hope that you love our products, but if you aren’t completely satisfied, returns are accepted.
We are sorry to hear 1571° F did not meet your expectations. We want you to love your 1571° F products. Please visit our “How It Works” page for a detailed explanation on how to use this tool.
If the purchase was made through the 1571° F website, your item/order must be in its original, new condition (including the packaging) and returned within 30 days of the purchase date.
Request a refund: Please complete the returns, replacements & exchanges form to request a refund approval number within 30 days of the purchase date. Customers are responsible for the shipping costs for all returns. Please re-package appropriately so that no damage will occur on route back to Casual Panache. We will process refunds within five business days once the item has been received. You will be refunded the cost of the product plus tax. If your order was eligible for free shipping, a fee of 10% will be deducted from your refund to cover the original cost of shipping.
